Halitosis,
or oral malodor, is a common complaint of up to one third of the population.
80% of the time it arises from the mouth. Oral production of malodorous
substances is most commonly associated with byproducts of bacterial metabolic
de-gradation. This debris produces volatile sulfur compounds (VCS's) that

What causes
Halitosis or Bad Breath?
If someone has a
dry mouth, there is a six-fold increase in such sulfur compounds. Along

(ClO2) and zinc. Zinc stops the enzymes from breaking down the amino acid
